Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Bartending certification preferred where applicable
  • Minimum 1 year of bartending or high-volume restaurant/bar experience preferred
  • Knowledge of drink recipes, mixology, and POS systems required
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of spirits, wine, beer, and cocktail preparation
  • Understanding of responsible alcohol service and state/local regulations
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods
  • Strong cash-handling and basic math skills
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, and cleanliness

Job Duties

  • Prepare and serve cocktails, beer, wine, and other beverages according to standard recipes
  • Greet and engage guests, take orders, and provide recommendations
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar area, including counters, equipment, and glassware
  • Restock liquor, mixers, garnishes, glassware, and supplies throughout the shift
  • Process payments accurately using POS systems
  • handle cash and tabs responsibly
  • Verify guest identification to ensure legal drinking age compliance
  • Follow all sanitation, safety, and alcohol service policies and procedures
  • Assist with bar opening and closing duties
  • Report any equipment or maintenance needs promptly
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management
