Job Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of bartending or related hospitality experience
- Ability to provide exceptional guest service in a fine dining environment
- Knowledge of Japanese alcohols such as sake and whiskey beneficial
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable and adaptable team player
- Full time availability with willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Legal eligibility to serve alcohol and required certifications
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a bartender, sommelier, or fine dining waitstaff
- Experience in Japanese beverage service concepts preferred
- Knowledgeable of sake and Japanese whiskeys
- Passion for hospitality and guest service
- Warm and professional communication and leadership skills
- Reliability and flexibility as a team player
- Full time availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Valid alcohol service certifications as required by local and state law
Job Duties
- Be the point of contact for all guest needs during the omakase-style dining experience
- Coordinate with the chef to ensure timely and efficient service
- Welcome guests and explain all beverage options
- Take beverage orders and prepare and serve all beverages
- Execute beverage pairings including sake and Japanese whiskey
- Provide fine dining service focused on storytelling and product knowledge
- Design and execute seasonal cocktail menus with non-alcoholic options
- Oversee daily bar setup, prep, cleanliness, and closing procedures
- Manage guest payment collection with accuracy and hospitality
- Interact with guests and team members with warmth and professionalism
- Host in the lounge when required by management
