Job Requirements

- Prior bar service experience

Job Duties
- Serves food and drinks to guests in a courteous and timely manner
- Mixes ingredients such as liquor, soda, water, and fruit juice to prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to Applebee's recipes
- Interacts verbally with all bar guests, creating a friendly and upbeat atmosphere
- Greets guests, answers questions, makes suggestions regarding food and drinks
- Completes assigned opening and closing side work
- Slices fruit and vegetable garnishes for drinks
- Presents guest checks to bar patrons and handles cash or credit transactions
- Processes employee and manager food orders
- Relays food orders to kitchen via point-of-sale system timely and accurately
- Manages service of alcohol according to state and federal laws, company and brand policies
- Participates in clearing and resetting the bar
- Occasionally serves guests in Carside To-Go
- Maintains a clean and organized work area
- Explains and demonstrates usage of Tabletop Electronic Devices to guests
- Drives sales with suggestive selling techniques
- Participates in local store marketing to drive bar traffic
- Removes trash and garbage from bar area to dumpster
