Job Requirements

  • Must have proven working experience as a bartender
  • must be able to frequently immerse hands in hot and cold water
  • must be able to read and write English
  • must be able to hear well in an environment with loud background noise

Job Qualifications

  • Proven working experience as a bartender
  • excellent knowledge and experience mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
  • experience operating P.O.S. system, making change correctly and processing credit card transactions
  • must have a positive attitude and excellent communication skills
  • must be able to frequently immerse hands in hot and cold water
  • must be able to read and write English
  • must be able to hear well in an environment with loud background noise

Job Duties

  • Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and dining room
  • keep the bar organized, stocked and clean at all times
  • interact with customers, take drink and food orders
  • have a strong knowledge of all menu items and prices
  • mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
  • assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
  • upsell guests on food or drink items when appropriate
  • check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
  • restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
  • stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
  • comply with all food and beverage regulations
  • follow all relevant brand standards for service
  • strictly adheres to responsible alcohol service standards and is able to successfully “slow down a guest” or cut off an intoxicated guest when necessary
  • process payments and shift end cash out procedure
  • perform general cleaning duties throughout shift and at closing
  • must be dressed neatly and be well-groomed
  • must wear company approved uniform at all times
