Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must have resided in the United States for at least 3 years
  • Must reside in the commuting area of the vacancy location
  • Must be able to pass a background investigation with favorable results
  • Must pass a pre-employment physical examination
  • Must obtain a Food Handler's Certificate or complete food handler's training
  • Must be able to provide valid identification for installation access
  • U.S. citizens and non-U.S. nationals must meet residency requirements
  • Male applicants born after December 31, 1959 must be registered for Selective Service
  • Must complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check
  • Direct deposit is required

Job Qualifications

  • Must have experience mixing alcoholic beverages for retail sale
  • Ability to combine ingredients such as liquors, soda water, sugar, bitters, and fruit
  • Must be able to recognize intoxicated or unruly patrons and resolve problems or seek assistance
  • Must be able to follow cash handling procedures
  • Ability to communicate clearly and possess skill in dealing with the public

Job Duties

  • Operate a full-service bar mixing and serving alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks to order
  • Deliver drinks to bar waiters or serve directly to patrons
  • Accept payments and operate a cash register
  • Ensure receipt and inventory accountability
  • Wash glasses and bar equipment
  • Prepare garnishes for mixed drinks
  • Assist in stocking the service bar or portable bars for catered functions
