Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must have resided in the United States for at least 3 years
- Must reside in the commuting area of the vacancy location
- Must be able to pass a background investigation with favorable results
- Must pass a pre-employment physical examination
- Must obtain a Food Handler's Certificate or complete food handler's training
- Must be able to provide valid identification for installation access
- U.S. citizens and non-U.S. nationals must meet residency requirements
- Male applicants born after December 31, 1959 must be registered for Selective Service
- Must complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check
- Direct deposit is required
Job Qualifications
- Must have experience mixing alcoholic beverages for retail sale
- Ability to combine ingredients such as liquors, soda water, sugar, bitters, and fruit
- Must be able to recognize intoxicated or unruly patrons and resolve problems or seek assistance
- Must be able to follow cash handling procedures
- Ability to communicate clearly and possess skill in dealing with the public
Job Duties
- Operate a full-service bar mixing and serving alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks to order
- Deliver drinks to bar waiters or serve directly to patrons
- Accept payments and operate a cash register
- Ensure receipt and inventory accountability
- Wash glasses and bar equipment
- Prepare garnishes for mixed drinks
- Assist in stocking the service bar or portable bars for catered functions
