Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must have or be able to obtain state-required food handler and alcohol service certifications
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs
  • Frequent bending, reaching, and repetitive motions

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 1-2 years of bartending experience in hospitality, club, or restaurant setting preferred
  • Strong knowledge of spirits, wine, beer, and mixology techniques
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure

Job Duties

  • Greet members and guests courteously and ensure prompt, friendly service
  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and club standards
  • Maintain complete knowledge of bar offerings, including wines, beers, cocktails, and daily specials
  • Monitor and manage member tabs accurately using the POS system
  • Check identification to verify legal drinking age and enforce responsible alcohol service
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, glassware, tools, and equipment
  • Restock bar supplies, garnishes, and inventory as needed
  • Handle member inquiries and requests professionally, ensuring a positive experience
  • Assist with private events, banquets, and special club functions as assigned
  • Follow all health, sanitation, and safety standards
  • Work cooperatively with serving and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service
