Job Requirements
- must be at least 18 years of age
- work days, nights, and/or weekends as required
- work in environments with hot and cold temperatures
- work in noisy, fast-paced environment with distracting conditions
- read and write handwritten notes
- lift and carry up to 30 pounds
- move about facility and stand for long periods
- walk or stand 100% of shift
- reach, bend, stoop, mop, sweep and wipe frequently
- dressed in proper dress code looking neat, clean and professional at all times
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- restaurant or bar experience preferred but not required
- ability to operate Micros point of sale system
- strong communication skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced, noisy environment
- ability to follow company sanitation and alcohol policies
- friendly and positive attitude
- ability to read and communicate in English
- ability to handle cash and credit transactions accurately
- able to work flexible schedules including days, nights, and weekends
Job Duties
- deliver an unparalleled guest experience through the best combination of food, drinks and games in an ideal environment for celebrating all out fun
- keep immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance and take prompt corrective action or suggest alternatives
- create a warm, fun atmosphere for guests and team members
- adhere to company’s sanitation procedures
- maintain responsibility for personal bank and ensure all financial transactions are accurate
- follow alcohol awareness procedures
- assess guest demeanor and identify when behavior should be called to manager’s attention
- follow all bar recipes to ensure consistent product and cost control
- keep station clean and set up and take down station tables
- greet newly seated guests in a friendly and timely manner
- accurately take guests’ food and drink orders
- maintain thorough understanding of all menu items and answer questions
- enter orders into Micros system quickly and correctly
- be responsible for all sales on personal Micros keys and complete station side work at shift start and end
- demonstrate ability to operate Micros and handle transactions
- ensure food is properly garnished and deliver trays to designated areas
- work efficiently adhering to “full hands in, full hands out” philosophy
- participate in incentives and contests
- complete bar inventories and daily requisition sheets
- complete opening and closing duties timely
- assist in party setup and breakdown
- assist team members as needed
- buss and reset tables
- ensure ongoing guest satisfaction by checking back after food delivery and maintaining drink levels
- maintain favorable working relationships with coworkers
- listen and communicate effectively with guests and team members
- be friendly and able to smile frequently
