Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • At least 1 year of bartending experience in a full bar environment
  • Certification in ServSafe and alcohol safety training
  • Proficient in using the Vista Point of Sale System
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for effective interaction with coworkers, guests, and management
  • Ability to remain organized and prioritize duties in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to manage stressful and challenging situations positively
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including nights, holidays, and weekends

Job Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • 1+ years of bartending experience with a full bar
  • ServSafe and alcohol training certifications are required
  • Ability to work with Vista Point of Sale System and perform basic math
  • Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with employees, guests, and management
  • Organized and able to prioritize in a fast paced and constantly changing environment while maintaining a smile and positive attitude
  • Great communication skills with the ability to handle difficult and stressful situations and issues positively
  • Flexible working hours including nights, holidays, and weekends

Job Duties

  • Greet guests who approach all bar areas immediately with a smile and warm hospitality, embodying nice and amazing service
  • Demonstrate passion and commitment by rapidly and accurately taking food and beverage orders and using selling maximizations for every guest
  • Create a unique and amazing experience for guests by possessing full knowledge of bar and menu items and being able to make recommendations
  • Check patrons' identification to ensure that they meet minimum age requirements, 21 or order, for consumption of alcoholic beverages
  • Mix, garnish, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks for server orders, and patrons of the bar, lobby, and lounge following standard recipes
  • Clean as you go including glasses, utensils, bar equipment, and bussing tables
  • Implement alcohol service and safety training, including but not limited to the following: ensuring that alcohol is consumed in designated areas only, not over-serving an intoxicated guest, and do not hesitate to ask for management intervention if necessary
  • Set up and maintain appropriate stock levels for the bar
  • Keep Bar Supervisor up to date on inventory levels
  • Wash and sanitize all stemware
  • Process all payments correctly and promptly to ensure they have a smooth transition into the theater
  • Navigate guest complaints and assist with requests or direct them to proper resources if unable to assist
  • Complete all opening, mid, and closing procedures- including but not limited to side work
  • Other duties as assigned
