Job Requirements
- 21+ years old
- Prior bar service experience
- Reliable transportation required
- Ability to build relationships
- Ability to be a team player
- Ability to follow manager instructions and guidance
- Ability to communicate and behave professionally at all times
- Friendly and engaging demeanor
- High school degree or GED preferred
- ServeSafe Alcohol Certification a plus
- Bi-lingual experience a plus
- Reading, writing, basic math and verbal communication skills required

Job Duties
- Serves food and drinks to guests in a courteous and timely manner
- Mixes ingredients to prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to Applebee's standards
- Interacts verbally with all bar guests creating a friendly and upbeat environment
- Greets guests, answers questions, makes suggestions regarding food and drinks
- Completes assigned opening and closing side work
- Slices fruit and vegetable garnishes for drinks
- Presents guest checks to bar patrons and processes payments accurately
- Relays food orders to kitchen via the point-of-sale system
- Manages alcohol service according to laws and company policies
- Participates in clearing and resetting the bar
- Occasionally serves guests in Carside To-Go
- Maintains a clean and organized work area
- Explains and demonstrates usage of Tabletop Electronic Devices to guests
- Drives sales with suggestive selling techniques
- Participates in local store marketing to drive bar traffic
- Removes trash and garbage from bar service area
