Job Duties
- Serves food and drinks to guests in a courteous and timely manner
- mixes ingredients such as liquor soda water and fruit juice to prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to Applebee's standards
- interacts verbally with all bar guests creating a friendly and upbeat environment
- greets guests answers questions makes suggestions regarding food drinks and specials
- completes assigned opening and closing side work as directed
- slices fruit and vegetable garnishes for drinks
- presents guest checks to bar patrons makes correct change and or completes credit transactions
- processes employee and manager food orders
- relays food orders to kitchen via the point-of-sale system in a timely and accurate manner
- manages service of alcohol according to all state and federal laws regulations company and brand policies
- participates in clearing and resetting the bar
- may occasionally be scheduled to serve guests in a Carside To-Go capacity
- maintains a clean and organized work area
- explains and demonstrates usage of Tabletop Electronic Devices to guests
- drives sales with suggestive selling techniques creating a legendary customer experience
- participates in local store marketing to drive bar traffic and overall restaurant sales
- removes trash and garbage from bar service area to dumpster
