Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • The desire and ability to be pleasant, upbeat and sociable throughout the workday
  • Be able to work a varied schedule to include days, nights, holidays and weekends

  • Prior guest service or hospitality experience is preferred
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Basic math and cash handling skills
  • Ability to follow safety and sanitation protocols

Job Duties

  • Greet guest and take orders within Andretti guidelines, always exceeding guests expectations
  • Prepare standard and specialty mixed drinks
  • Pour wine and beer quickly, accurately, and without waste
  • Deliver food and beverage in a professional manner according to Andretti standards
  • Collect payment for all items purchased and consumed and operate the Point-of-Sale system with ease
  • Count cash drawer at the beginning of the shift for accuracy and ensure adequate amount of change is present
  • Maintain an organized work area and proactively clean and reset tables
  • Order and maintain liquor and bar supplies, display bottles in an aesthetically pleasing manner
  • Properly dispose of broken glassware
  • Follow safety and sanitation guidelines in accordance with local health regulations
  • Sufficiently handle and accurately count money
  • Check identification of any guest consuming alcohol
  • Follow all state and company guidelines regarding beverage services
  • Observe, instruct and monitor guests for safety and guideline adherence
  • Assist with guest recovery and notify manager to ensure positive guest experiences
  • Communicate clearly and professionally while interacting enthusiastically with guests and fellow co-workers
  • Perform opening, running and closing department duties as assigned
