Job Requirements

  • At least 1 year of bartending experience
  • TABC certification
  • Food Handlers license in Texas
  • ability to lift 30 pounds frequently
  • able to stand or walk for 8-12 hours
  • complete background check
  • valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • eligible to work in the United States

Job Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of experience in a similar bartending role
  • TABC certification required
  • Food Handlers license valid in Texas required
  • applicable work history demonstrating hospitality skills
  • ability to stand and walk for 8-12 hours
  • physical ability to lift up to 30 pounds
  • completion of background check
  • valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • eligibility to work in the United States

Job Duties

  • Set up the bar and ensure it is fully equipped with the necessary tools and products
  • ensure the bar is stocked with the correct alcohol and quantities ordered
  • fully comply with TABC procedures for serving alcoholic beverages
  • interact with customers and take drink orders
  • mix drinks, cocktails, and other beverages according to venue recipes
  • assess customer needs and preferences and make recommendations
  • determine when a customer has had too much alcohol and refuse further service politely while informing management
  • maintain liquor inventory by counting and reporting remaining alcohol at the end of the shift
  • comply with all food and beverage regulations
  • break down and clean the bar area including taking out trash, wiping counters, and mopping floors
