Job Requirements
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
- Ability to work 32 hours or more per week
- Prior experience as a barista
- Familiarity with espresso machines and coffee brewing methods
- Knowledge of cocktail preparation and bartending
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in work area
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings
- Commitment to quality and detail in drink preparation
Job Qualifications
- 2+ years of prior barista experience
- Understanding of coffee preparation, brewing methods, and espresso machines
- Knowledge of drink recipes and bartending techniques
- Customer service oriented with good communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to quality and presentation of drinks
- Enthusiasm for coffee, specialty beverages, and hospitality
Job Duties
- Provide exceptional guest service
- Have great communication, organizational and time management skills
- A passion and love for the art of and craft of coffee and cocktails
- Provide excellent customer service to cafe and bar patrons
- Prepare and serve high quality coffee and espresso drinks during the day and then transition to a bar setting
- Make blended drinks, tea beverages, and other cocktail drinks
- Provide customers with product details and make recommendations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cafe area
- Stock, inventory, and replenish cafe supplies
- Operate cafe equipment like espresso machines safely
- Assist with opening and closing duties
