Job Requirements
- must be at least 18 years of age
- able to work days, nights and weekends as required
- able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
- able to stand and walk for 100% of shift
- able to work in hot and cold environments
- able to read and write handwritten notes
- able to reach, bend, stoop, mop, sweep and wipe frequently
- willing to follow dress code and maintain a neat, clean, professional appearance
- able to communicate effectively with guests and team members
- able to work in noisy and fast-paced environment
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior restaurant or bar experience preferred but not required
- ability to communicate effectively in English
- strong customer service skills
- ability to operate Micros or similar point-of-sale system
- ability to work in a fast-paced, noisy environment
- teamwork and cooperation skills
- ability to handle financial transactions accurately
- friendly and approachable personality
- basic understanding of food and beverage preparation
Job Duties
- deliver an unparalleled guest experience through food, drinks and games in a fun environment
- keep immediate supervisor informed of significant issues and take corrective action
- create a warm and enjoyable atmosphere for guests and team members
- adhere to sanitation procedures
- maintain personal bank and handle financial transactions accurately
- follow alcohol awareness procedures
- assess guest demeanor and report issues to management
- follow bar recipes to control costs and maximize satisfaction
- keep station clean and set up/take down tables
- greet guests promptly
- take accurate food and drink orders
- maintain thorough knowledge of menu items
- enter orders into Micros system accurately
- complete opening and closing duties
- assist in party set up and breakdown
- bus and reset tables
- check back on guests to ensure satisfaction
- maintain positive relationships with team members
- communicate effectively with guests and team members verbally and via Micros
- maintain friendly demeanor and professionalism
- drive sales through participation in incentives and contests
