Job Requirements

  • Must have a keen eye to detail and organization
  • Must have at least 2 years of fine dining experience
  • Must possess excellent customer service skills
  • Must be capable of effective communication
  • Must have knowledge of proper food handling procedures
  • Must hold wine knowledge, certification preferred
  • Must be able to work flexible schedules including nights and weekends
  • Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds unassisted

Job Qualifications

  • Service staff are required to possess at least 2 years of fine dining experience
  • Excellent customer service, including patience and a friendly demeanor
  • Exceptional organization and time management
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of foodservice regulations and proper food handling procedures
  • Wine knowledge a must (wine certification preferred)
  • Capability to learn quickly and memorize menu details
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Willing to work flexible work schedules that include nights and weekends
  • Physically able to be on their feet for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds unassisted

Job Duties

  • Must have a keen eye to detail and organization
  • Contributes to daily, holiday, and theme drink menus in collaboration with supervisor
  • Adheres to proper alcohol handling, sanitation, and safety procedures, and maintains appropriate dating, labeling, and rotation of all beverage items
  • Must have a general understanding of professional kitchen sanitation protocol
  • Must be willing to learn and adapt to situations and procedure changes as decided by the management
  • Greeting and seating customers
  • Taking food and beverage orders and accurately entering them into the ordering system
  • Making menu item recommendations
  • Communicating any food allergy or special nutrition needs to kitchen staff
  • Ensuring all orders are filled quickly and accurately and that food is high quality
  • Providing attentive service to diners, like refilling drinks as needed and checking their needs during meals
  • Promptly addressing any customer service issues and referring to management if and when necessary
  • Performing some cleaning duties, such as at the service station, around the kitchen and in the dining area
