Job Requirements
- Must have a keen eye to detail and organization
- Must have at least 2 years of fine dining experience
- Must possess excellent customer service skills
- Must be capable of effective communication
- Must have knowledge of proper food handling procedures
- Must hold wine knowledge, certification preferred
- Must be able to work flexible schedules including nights and weekends
- Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds unassisted
Job Qualifications
- Service staff are required to possess at least 2 years of fine dining experience
- Excellent customer service, including patience and a friendly demeanor
- Exceptional organization and time management
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of foodservice regulations and proper food handling procedures
- Wine knowledge a must (wine certification preferred)
- Capability to learn quickly and memorize menu details
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Willing to work flexible work schedules that include nights and weekends
- Physically able to be on their feet for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds unassisted
Job Duties
- Must have a keen eye to detail and organization
- Contributes to daily, holiday, and theme drink menus in collaboration with supervisor
- Adheres to proper alcohol handling, sanitation, and safety procedures, and maintains appropriate dating, labeling, and rotation of all beverage items
- Must have a general understanding of professional kitchen sanitation protocol
- Must be willing to learn and adapt to situations and procedure changes as decided by the management
- Greeting and seating customers
- Taking food and beverage orders and accurately entering them into the ordering system
- Making menu item recommendations
- Communicating any food allergy or special nutrition needs to kitchen staff
- Ensuring all orders are filled quickly and accurately and that food is high quality
- Providing attentive service to diners, like refilling drinks as needed and checking their needs during meals
- Promptly addressing any customer service issues and referring to management if and when necessary
- Performing some cleaning duties, such as at the service station, around the kitchen and in the dining area
