Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a fast-paced environment serving food and beverages
  • Competent knowledge of liquor, beer and wine
  • Weekend availability
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure
  • Strong communication skills
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Compliance with all local alcohol laws and regulations

Job Duties

  • Prepare and serve high-quality cocktails according to Select Restaurants recipes
  • Follow correct service procedures ensuring proper bar operations
  • Adhere to laws and company policies regarding alcohol service
  • Maintain personal cleanliness, proper uniform and professional demeanor
  • Address guest inquiries and complaints professionally prioritizing guest satisfaction
  • Cooperate with management and co-workers, suggesting improvements positively
  • Perform set-up, sidework, and closing duties maintaining bar cleanliness and organization
  • Promote food and beverage sales through product knowledge and suggestive selling
  • Complete cash reports, handle payments accurately, follow credit card procedures
  • Claim 100 percent of net total tips as required by law
  • Know and follow emergency procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
