Job Requirements
- Meet state minimum age for serving alcoholic beverages
- At least 1 year of closely related bartending experience
- Experience in high volume or fast casual dining preferred
- Knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits
- Ability to interact positively with the public
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and policy documents
- Ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Familiarity with cash handling and customer service
- Willingness to adhere to alcohol service laws and company policies
Job Qualifications
- Minimum age requirement as per state laws for serving alcohol
- At least 1 year of bartending experience, preferably in a high volume or fast casual dining environment
- Knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits and their preparation
- Ability to interact with customers and coworkers in a friendly and enthusiastic manner
- Ability to comprehend instructions and communicate effectively
- Cash handling and customer service experience preferred
- Physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform job functions including walking, bending, twisting, and standing
Job Duties
- Greet customers and take food and drink orders
- Provide information about products and upsell items
- Follow recipes and product directions for mixing beverages
- Collect payments and operate cash registers following company policies
- Secure all monies at the end of each shift
- Follow alcohol awareness procedures and manage intoxicated guests
- Ensure a clean, sanitized and well-stocked bar
- Adhere to all company safety and sanitation policies
- Communicate effectively with management and servers
