Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to work days, nights, and/or weekends as required
- Ability to work in hot and cold environments including freezers and near cooking equipment
- Ability to work in a noisy, fast-paced environment with distractions
- Ability to read and write handwritten notes
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
- Ability to stand or walk 100% of the shift
- Ability to reach, bend, stoop, mop, sweep and wipe frequently
- Ability to maintain a neat, clean and professional appearance and adhere to dress code
- Must demonstrate friendly demeanor and frequent smiling
- Basic English communication skills
- Must comply with all applicable laws and regulations
- Must be able to cooperate well with team members and supervisors
Job Qualifications
- Restaurant or bar experience preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
- Ability to read and communicate in English
- Friendly and approachable attitude
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, noisy environment
- Basic knowledge of food and drink menu items
- Ability to operate Micros point-of-sale system
- Ability to follow company policies and procedures
- Ability to handle money and perform accurate cash transactions
Job Duties
- Deliver an unparalleled guest experience through food, drinks and games in a fun environment
- Keep supervisor informed of problems or significant matters and take corrective action or suggest alternatives
- Create a warm and fun atmosphere for guests and team members
- Adhere to company sanitation procedures
- Maintain responsibility for personal bank, operate credit card machines accurately and manage cash
- Follow alcohol awareness procedures to prevent intoxication and handle intoxicated guests
- Assess guest behavior and involve manager when necessary
- Follow bar recipes to ensure consistent products, control costs and maximize satisfaction
- Keep station clean and set up and take down tables
- Greet newly seated guests and take food and drink orders accurately
- Maintain thorough knowledge of menu items and answer guest questions
- Enter orders into Micros system quickly and accurately
- Complete sales on personal Micros keys and station side work
- Demonstrate ability to operate Micros and handle money transactions
- Ensure proper garnishing of food and deliver trays to designated areas
- Work efficiently following full hands in/full hands out philosophy
- Participate in sales incentives and contests
- Complete bar inventories and daily requisition sheets
- Perform opening and closing duties in a timely manner
- Assist in party set up and breakdown
- Support other team members as needed
- Buss and reset tables
- Ensure guest satisfaction by checking back, maintaining drinks, clearing clutter and pre-bussing
- Maintain positive working relationships with team members
- Listen and communicate guest orders effectively
- Maintain friendly demeanor and frequent smiling
- Preferably have restaurant or bar experience
- Communicate enthusiasm about the D&B experience
- Read and communicate in English
- Adhere to dress code and present a neat, clean, professional appearance
- Work effectively in noisy, fast-paced environment
- Be at least 18 years old
