Job Requirements
- Must meet state minimum age for serving alcoholic beverages
- at least one year of bartending experience
- knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits
- ability to interact with public and coworkers in a friendly and outgoing manner
- ability to speak, read, and understand instructions and policies
- ability to lift or move up to 40 pounds
- experience with cash handling and customer service preferred
- frequently immerses hands in water and chemical solutions
Job Qualifications
- At least one year of closely related bartending experience
- work experience in high volume or fast casual dining environment preferred
- knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits including preparation and presentation
- ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly and enthusiastic manner
- ability to speak, read, and comprehend instructions and policies
- cash handling and customer service experience preferred
- ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds
Job Duties
- Greet customers and take food and drink orders
- provide information about products and upsell when possible
- follow recipes and product directions for mixing beverages
- collect payments and operate cash registers following company cash handling policies
- secure all monies at shift end
- follow alcohol awareness procedures and manage intoxicated guests appropriately
- ensure a clean, sanitized, and well-stocked bar
- communicate ticket times and potential problems to management and servers
- perform additional responsibilities as assigned by management
