Job Requirements
- Strong math skills for accurate cash handling and drink measurements
- Experience with Toast or similar point-of-sale systems is preferred
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with guests
- Knowledge of brewing techniques and food service practices is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment while maintaining attention to detail
Job Qualifications
- TABC certification
- Food handlers certification
- 1 year bar experience
Job Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and offering recommendations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces
- Handle cash transactions accurately using a cash register or POS system, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed
- Assist in setting up and breaking down the bar for special events as needed
- Monitor inventory levels of drinks and supplies, communicating needs to management when necessary
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation regulations while serving food and beverages
