Job Qualifications

  • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
  • 1-2 years experience as a bartender in a high-volume environment with knowledge of basic bar procedures
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and diplomacy
  • Strong communication skills
  • Exceptional organization and prioritization abilities
  • Ability to work in environments with fluctuating temperatures
  • Excellent customer service skills in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work well with others and maintain effective relationships with coworkers and supervisors

Job Duties

  • Mix and serve traditional and established alcoholic beverage menu items
  • Prepare and serve all alcoholic beverages by precisely measuring pour volume according to established alcohol service
  • Serve alcoholic beverages responsibly by strictly adhering to responsible alcohol service guidelines and properly identifying age requirements of all customers
  • Properly organize, maintain, and accurately record inventory of liquor, beer, wine, and sellable beverage items
  • Take food and beverage orders for all guests seated in designated areas, making recommendations and upselling daily specials
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff and Server Assistants to ensure prompt and accurate delivery of guest orders and communicate any dietary restrictions or allergies
  • Deliver professional, courteous, and efficient service to guests
  • Present guests with check and settle payments accurately and professionally
  • Complete all station set-up, breakdown, and cleaning duties
  • Maintain knowledge of restaurant happenings including menu updates, operational guidelines, service hours, and special offerings
  • Support all team members to ensure guests receive high quality service and assist with clearing, cleaning, and pre-setting tables
  • Adhere to sanitation, safety, and alcohol control policies
  • Practice safety and sanitation standards including social distancing, mask use, glove use when handling food or beverages, frequent cleaning and sanitizing of high-contact surfaces, and frequent handwashing
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisors or managers
