Job Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk for entire shifts
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Availability to work varied shifts including weekends
  • Ability to tolerate frequent exposure to liquids such as water, cleaning solutions, alcohol, and juices
  • Completion of alcohol awareness training
  • Ability to work in confined, crowded spaces with variable noise and temperature levels
  • Must comply with all workplace safety and sanitation guidelines and policies

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous bartending or related hospitality experience preferred
  • Ability to multitask calmly and effectively in a busy, stressful environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Knowledge of alcohol safety and responsible service practices
  • Ability to operate POS systems and related technology
  • Commitment to teamwork and excellent customer service

Job Duties

  • Prepare and serve beverages to guests according to recipes
  • Stock and restock appropriate areas of the bar with alcohol, glassware, ice and supplies
  • Work a variety of hours, days and shifts, including weekends
  • Service a full bar top, cocktail station, and dining room orders effectively
  • Safely and effectively transport food or beverages to a table of three in a single trip
  • Safely and effectively use and operate all necessary tools and equipment, including knives and blenders
  • Effectively communicate in order to perform and follow job requirements in written and spoken direction
