Job Requirements

  • Minimum age to serve alcohol
  • one year experience in foodservice or hospitality industry preferred
  • good knowledge of spirits, beer, and wine
  • superior professional appearance and manner
  • ability to work flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
  • ability to obtain required state and local government certifications such as food handlers certificate or alcohol training

Job Duties

  • Assist guests in beverage and drink preparation
  • service the bar area and restaurant efficiently and timely
  • relate with guests about needs and satisfaction with beverages
  • be knowledgeable about menu drinks and standard drinks
  • contribute to improving food and beverage sales revenues
  • accurately take and place orders with the Micros system
  • prepare guest checks and collect payment
  • operate, maintain, and clean all bar equipment
  • ensure the bar is well-stocked
  • use safe food handling procedures and maintain a safe work environment
