Job Requirements

Must be of legal age to serve alcohol
Possess California Food Handlers card and ABC certification
Willingness to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
Basic knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits
Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
Ability to prioritize and work effectively within a sometimes-pressured environment
High energy and strong verbal communication skills
Ability to read menus, safety documents, and other work-related documents

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

Work as a team with all personnel to maintain an effective atmosphere and an efficient food and beverage service
Check identification of guest to ensure they are of legal age to consume alcoholic beverages
Politely refuse beverages to guests who are not of legal age
Responsible serve alcohol
Count drinks served and are aware of guest's state of intoxication
Mix, garnish, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks for patrons of bar and dining room following standard recipes
Enter and complete customers' orders on computer system, accepting different types of payment
Anticipate guest's needs and follow the half-full rule when offering another drink
Remain alert of guest signals (raising a hand, looking directly at you, etc.), and acknowledge guest so they know you will be right with them
Perform other projects and tasks as delegated
