Job Requirements
- Must be of legal age to serve alcohol
- Possess California Food Handlers card and ABC certification
- Willingness to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
- Basic knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize and work effectively within a sometimes-pressured environment
- High energy and strong verbal communication skills
- Ability to read menus, safety documents, and other work-related documents

Job Duties
- Work as a team with all personnel to maintain an effective atmosphere and an efficient food and beverage service
- Check identification of guest to ensure they are of legal age to consume alcoholic beverages
- Politely refuse beverages to guests who are not of legal age
- Responsible serve alcohol
- Count drinks served and are aware of guest's state of intoxication
- Mix, garnish, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks for patrons of bar and dining room following standard recipes
- Enter and complete customers' orders on computer system, accepting different types of payment
- Anticipate guest's needs and follow the half-full rule when offering another drink
- Remain alert of guest signals (raising a hand, looking directly at you, etc.), and acknowledge guest so they know you will be right with them
- Perform other projects and tasks as delegated
