Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- one to three months related experience and/or training in mixing a variety of alcoholic beverages
- must obtain and maintain Serv-Safe certificate
- must obtain and maintain a valid racing license

- knowledge of sanitation and health department regulations for safe handling of alcohol
- knowledge of all bar equipment, cash register, and company beverage system as well as wines, alcohol, and mixed drinks
Job Duties
- Takes beverage orders from guests and checks identification to verify age requirements
- promotes brands and products to increase sales
- prepares cocktails and beverages for guests and servers according to recipes and specifications
- performs set up and breakdown of bar area as well as side work and projects as needed
- maintains the appearance and cleanliness of the bar/work area in accordance with company and health department standards by arranging bottle displays, sweeping, wiping counter tops, removing trash, etc
- assists with inventory control, stocking, and proper rotation of product
- performs responsible alcohol service with regards to guest limitations
- completes monetary transaction using a point-of-sale system by maintaining cash drawer, accepting cash or card for payment, returning correct change, etc
- maintains knowledge of all menu items and prices as well as related regulations for drink preparation and storage
- performs other related duties as assigned
