Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum 3 years bartending experience in an upscale, high-volume restaurant or bar
  • valid California RBS certification
  • ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs
  • excellent interpersonal skills
  • availability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of bartending experience in an upscale, full-service restaurant or bar required
  • exceptional knowledge of cocktails, spirits, beer, and wine
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • strong attention to detail, cleanliness, and accuracy
  • must be of legal age to serve alcohol and possess a valid California RBS (Responsible Beverage Service) certification
  • availability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with consistency and creativity
  • engage guests with genuine hospitality and provide beverage recommendations
  • maintain knowledge of current cocktail trends, house recipes, beer, wine, and spirits
  • ensure the bar area is clean, organized, and fully stocked before, during, and after service
  • follow all recipes, portion controls, and presentation standards
  • accurately handle cash, credit card transactions, and daily register reconciliation
  • collaborate with servers and management to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction
  • comply with all state, local, and company alcohol service laws and safety procedures
  • assist in training new bar team members when needed
