Job Requirements

  • Must be 21+ years of age in order to serve alcoholic beverages
  • Previous experience as a bartender in a restaurant or bar setting
  • Knowledge of drink recipes, mixing techniques, and drink presentation
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle cash transactions and use POS systems
  • Familiarity with local alcohol regulations
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high-volume periods
  • Attention to detail and excellent multitasking abilities
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Greet and interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner
  • Take drink orders, provide recommendations, and engage in conversation to enhance the overall customer experience
  • Verify the age of customers to ensure they meet legal requirements for alcohol service
  • Adhere to local and state laws regarding the sale and service of alcoholic beverages
  • Monitor customer behavior and intervene when necessary to prevent overconsumption
  • Refuse service to customers showing signs of intoxication and handle such situations diplomatically
  • Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, ensuring accurate measurement and consistency
  • Maintain a clean and organized bar, wash glassware, utensils, and equipment
  • Ensure the bar is well-stocked with necessary supplies and ingredients
  • Collaborate with kitchen and serving staff for timely and coordinated service
  • Stay updated on current trends in mixology and collaborate with colleagues to develop unique drink offerings
