Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Bartending school recommended but experience may substitute
  • Minimum one year bartending experience
  • Knowledge of all cocktails, beers, wines and non-alcoholic drinks
  • Good communication and cash handling skills
  • Valid Washington State food handler's card
  • Neat, clean, professional appearance
  • Ability to work well with customers and coworkers
  • Able to stand for longer than 8 hours
  • Able to lift 50 lbs
  • Tolerate smoke filled environment
  • Mobility to climb stairs regularly
  • Must work all scheduled shifts including day, swing, graveyard and holidays
  • Obtain Class III B gaming license
  • Pre-employment drug testing required
  • Indian preference applies in hiring according to Puyallup Tribe policies

Job Duties

  • Mix and serve cocktails, beers, wines and non-alcoholic beverages
  • Maintain a clean and well-stocked bar area
  • Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately
  • Track inventory and report stock levels
  • Support team operations including barback duties as needed
  • Provide exceptional customer service and engage with guests professionally
  • Uphold the high standards of safety and cleanliness
