Job Qualifications
- prior experience as a bartender in a high volume establishment
- thorough knowledge of Flix brewery
- cicerone certification strongly preferred
- ability to multi-task and serve multiple guests simultaneously
- knowledgeable of safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures
- professional communication skills
- ability to take direction and work effectively in a team
- ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure
- accountable, self-motivated, organized with problem solving skills
- commitment to quality movie-going, brewpub service and menu knowledge
Job Duties
- create a welcoming ambiance for guests
- greet and wait on bar top and lounge guests providing high level of service
- fill drink orders taken from guests
- pour draft beer, wine and prepare standard mixed drinks
- operate cash register and serve food and drinks to bar guests
- check valid identification of guests to comply with alcohol laws
- order and maintain inventory of bar supplies
- clock in and out when scheduled and stay engaged
- communicate with management on supply levels
- recognize intoxication signs and prevent over-intoxication
- utilize proper pouring techniques and restock bar supplies
- maintain safe work environment
- inform guests about current beers and suggest sales
- maintain cleanliness of bar and lounge areas
- clean liquor and draft beer control devices
- record all sales accurately at register
- make alcoholic drinks for servers and place in sell window
- greet customers courteously and professionally
- know upcoming beers and their details
- set up and reset bar and seating areas
- check opening inventory and note shortages
- pour and serve alcoholic beverages and food to guests
- rotate and restock bar coolers, wine racks and liquor rails
- change taps on empty kegs and report any issues
- maintain security of bar supplies and products
