Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Mix and serve traditional and established alcoholic beverage menu items
  • Prepare and serve all alcohol beverages by precisely measuring pour volume in accordance to established alcohol service
  • Serve all alcoholic beverages responsibly by strictly adhering to responsible alcohol service guidelines
  • Properly identify age requirements of all customers
  • Organize, maintain, and accurately record inventory of liquor, beer, wine, and any sellable beverage item
  • Inform manager of replenishment needs
  • Take food and beverage orders for all guests seated in designated areas
  • Make recommendations in accordance to guests’ requests
  • Sell and upsell daily specials
  • Possess knowledge of complete menu offerings, including production specifications, ingredients, cooking times, presentation, and packaging
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff and Server Assistants to ensure prompt and accurate delivery of guest orders
  • Ensure thorough and detailed communication of any dietary restrictions and allergies
  • Deliver professional, courteous, and efficient service to guests
  • Present guests with check and settle payment in a timely and professional manner
  • Ensure accurate processing of cash payments
  • Complete all station set-up, breakdown, and cleaning duties
  • Maintain knowledge of restaurant happenings, including menu updates, operational guidelines, service hours, special offerings
  • Support all team members to ensure guests receive high quality service
  • Provide notes and insights if guests have special requests
  • Assist team by clearing, cleaning, and pre-setting tables for next party
  • Ensure a hospitable experience for all guests
  • Protect establishment and patrons by adhering to sanitation, safety, and alcohol control policies
  • Understand and assist with execution of responsible alcohol service
  • Follow, adhere, and practice the Safety and Sanitation standards set forth by the Food and Beverage Department including social distancing, use of face mask/covering when in common areas or presence of guests, use of gloves when handling guest food or beverage, cleaning and sanitizing high contact surfaces, frequent handwashing
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisors or managers
