Job Requirements

  • Must be of minimum age to serve alcohol
  • ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
  • ability to obtain relevant state and local government certifications such as food handler or alcohol training certificates
  • one year experience in the foodservice or hospitality industry as a bartender preferred
  • superior professional appearance and manner
  • good character to work in a fast-paced team
  • good knowledge of spirits, beer, and wine

Job Duties

  • Assisting guests in beverage and drink preparation
  • servicing of the bar area and the restaurant efficiently and timely
  • relating with guests about their needs and satisfaction to ensure high-quality service
  • being knowledgeable about all drink offerings to assist guests in their choices
  • contributing to improving food and beverage sales by promoting drinks, cocktails, specials and prices
  • accurately and quickly taking, placing orders and inputting them into the Micros system
  • preparing guest checks accurately and collecting payment or signatures
  • operating, maintaining and properly cleaning all bar equipment and fittings
  • ensuring the bar is well-stocked at all times
  • using safe food handling procedures and maintaining a safe working environment
