  • Ability to handle physically demanding position including standing long periods and lifting heavy loads

Job Duties

  • Ensure the bar area is properly set-up including tables, linens, liquor, wine, beer, garnishes, and water pitchers
  • Knowledge of various cocktail recipes, wine packages and varietals, liquor and beer brands and styles
  • Knowledge and commitment to proper pour etiquette with wine and spirits
  • Practice responsible alcohol service and monitor guests to prevent overserving
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring product is stocked and accessible
  • Maintain a high standard of safety and cleanliness in all areas of the event space
  • Break down the bar at the end of the event in an organized fashion following packing and cleanliness guidelines
  • Assist other team members with their tasks including loading and unloading the truck
  • Greet, interact with, and serve all guests in a positive and professional manner while remaining attentive throughout the event
  • Maintain a sense of urgency on the service floor throughout the event
  • Maintain focus on assignment at all times to maximize efficiency, quality, and productivity
  • Maintain a professional demeanor before, during, and after events to meet Butler's Pantry standards
  • Cooperate with Service Captains and co-workers to resolve service and event related issues in a timely and professional manner
