Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of bartending experience in a similar full-service, high-volume restaurant environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to maintain a positive and energetic demeanor
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity
- Capacity to lift and carry up to 35 pounds
- Reliable transportation for commuting
- Availability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Willingness to comply with all sanitation, safety, and alcohol control policies
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
Job Qualifications
- At least 2 years of previous bartending experience working in full-service, high-volume restaurant
- Strong people and communication skills
- Passion and work ethic for the restaurant industry
- Ability to be on your feet and alert for an extended period
- Continuous use of hands, arms, bending, reaching, and twisting
- Ability to carry 35 pounds as needed
- Ability to carry trays as needed
- Reliable transportation required
- Ability to work in a team setting
Job Duties
- Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant guests to spec
- Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
- Check guests' identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
- Be friendly, happy, upbeat, outgoing, and positive
- Be observant and responsive, alert to guests' needs
- Exhibit excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Work effectively with a team
- Engage with guests, take orders efficiently, and serve food and drink
- Provide menu recommendations and additional information pertaining to the menu
- Remain calm and professional while multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment
- Be willing and available to learn and train prior to going on the floor
- Adhere to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies to protect establishment and guests
