Job Requirements
- One year of prior bartending experience preferred
- prior guest relations training
- proper food safety training and certification as described by law
- experience working with POS systems such as Toast, Micros, Aloha, and reservation software like Toast
- strong knowledge of mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
- knowledge of proper food handling
- excellent written and verbal communication skills
- positive upbeat attitude and personality
- punctuality and reliable attendance
- ability to read, write, speak and understand English
- ability to perform duties with attention to detail, speed, accuracy, courtesy, and cooperativeness with minimal supervision
- ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
- willingness to work flexible hours including mornings, nights, weekends and holidays
- ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods
- ability to lift and carry objects weighing 30 to 50 lbs
- capability to perform motor coordination tasks involving finger dexterity
- ability to work effectively in varying temperature environments including hot and cold conditions

Job Duties
- Prepare alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages for bar and restaurant patrons
- interact with customers, take orders and serve snacks and drinks
- assess customers' needs and preferences and make recommendations
- mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
- plan and present bar menu
- check customers' identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
- restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
- stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
- comply with all food and beverage, health and safety regulations
- demonstrate superior knowledge of classic cocktails and efficiently create them for clientele
- exemplify outstanding communication skills to promote customer service
- check in with clientele to ensure satisfaction
- maintain a clean and tidy work area including polishing glassware and tableware
- complete opening and closing duties and follow standards
- adhere to cash handling policies and perform accurate credit card transactions
- manage pour-cost control and participate in inventory and par level determination
- perform other duties as assigned
