Job Duties

  • Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks following recipes and customer requests
  • check customer identification to verify legal drinking age
  • maintain knowledge of drink menus, ingredients, and pairings
  • suggest drinks based on customer preferences
  • greet customers and take orders efficiently
  • engage with guests to create a welcoming atmosphere
  • handle complaints or concerns professionally
  • monitor customer alcohol consumption and intervene when necessary
  • process payments via cash, credit card, or POS system
  • manage tabs and ensure accurate billing
  • restock bar supplies, including liquor, mixers, garnishes, and glassware
  • keep track of inventory levels and report shortages
  • clean and sanitize bar equipment, utensils, and glassware
  • ensure the bar area is organized and tidy
  • dispose of trash and follow health and safety regulations
