Job Requirements
- minimum age to serve alcohol
- ability to work flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
- responsible beverage service certification or ability to obtain within 60 days
- food handler's certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
Job Qualifications
- one year experience in foodservice or hospitality as bartender preferred
- good knowledge of spirits, beer, and wine
- experience at a luxury hospitality property preferred
- must be of minimum age to serve alcohol
- superior professional appearance and manner
- ability to work flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
- responsible beverage service certification (can be obtained within 60 days of hire)
- food handler's certification (can be obtained within 30 days of hire)
Job Duties
- assist guests in beverage and drink preparation
- service the bar area and restaurant efficiently and timely
- engage with guests to understand needs and ensure satisfaction
- maintain knowledge of drink offerings to assist guest choices
- comply with Forbes standards in bar and restaurant
- contribute to F&B sales through expertise in drinks and menu
- accurately take and place orders using Micros system
- prepare guest checks and collect payments
- operate and maintain bar equipment
- ensure bar is well-stocked
- follow safe food handling procedures
