Job Requirements

  • minimum age to serve alcohol
  • ability to work flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
  • responsible beverage service certification or ability to obtain within 60 days
  • food handler's certification or ability to obtain within 30 days

Job Qualifications

  • one year experience in foodservice or hospitality as bartender preferred
  • good knowledge of spirits, beer, and wine
  • experience at a luxury hospitality property preferred
  • must be of minimum age to serve alcohol
  • superior professional appearance and manner
  • ability to work flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
  • responsible beverage service certification (can be obtained within 60 days of hire)
  • food handler's certification (can be obtained within 30 days of hire)

Job Duties

  • assist guests in beverage and drink preparation
  • service the bar area and restaurant efficiently and timely
  • engage with guests to understand needs and ensure satisfaction
  • maintain knowledge of drink offerings to assist guest choices
  • comply with Forbes standards in bar and restaurant
  • contribute to F&B sales through expertise in drinks and menu
  • accurately take and place orders using Micros system
  • prepare guest checks and collect payments
  • operate and maintain bar equipment
  • ensure bar is well-stocked
  • follow safe food handling procedures
