Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Must have legal authorization to work
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work varied schedules including nights and weekends
- Must complete formal liquor liability training within 30 days of employment and every two years thereafter
- Ability to work accurately under pressure
- Must follow all company policies and procedures
- Regular attendance as per company guidelines
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior bartending experience is preferred
- Knowledge of liquor types and drink recipes
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to operate MICROS or similar register system
- Problem-solving and guest resolution abilities
- Ability to memorize drink ingredients and garnishes
- Experience working in high-pressure environments
- Good interpersonal skills and teamwork
- Basic math and cash handling skills
Job Duties
- Prepare and serve beverages efficiently and courteously
- Maintain knowledge of liquor types, recipes, prices, glassware, and garnishes
- Anticipate guest needs and maintain positive relations
- Resolve guest complaints to ensure satisfaction
- Maintain bar supplies and prepare daily requisitions
- Follow age identification and alcohol awareness guidelines
- Handle cash and MICROS system accurately
- Promote and upsell liquor and food
- Enforce red line system without exception
- Complete all side-work before and after shifts
- Work cooperatively with team members
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation
- Follow management requests promptly
