Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Must have legal authorization to work
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to work varied schedules including nights and weekends
  • Must complete formal liquor liability training within 30 days of employment and every two years thereafter
  • Ability to work accurately under pressure
  • Must follow all company policies and procedures
  • Regular attendance as per company guidelines

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior bartending experience is preferred
  • Knowledge of liquor types and drink recipes
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to operate MICROS or similar register system
  • Problem-solving and guest resolution abilities
  • Ability to memorize drink ingredients and garnishes
  • Experience working in high-pressure environments
  • Good interpersonal skills and teamwork
  • Basic math and cash handling skills

Job Duties

  • Prepare and serve beverages efficiently and courteously
  • Maintain knowledge of liquor types, recipes, prices, glassware, and garnishes
  • Anticipate guest needs and maintain positive relations
  • Resolve guest complaints to ensure satisfaction
  • Maintain bar supplies and prepare daily requisitions
  • Follow age identification and alcohol awareness guidelines
  • Handle cash and MICROS system accurately
  • Promote and upsell liquor and food
  • Enforce red line system without exception
  • Complete all side-work before and after shifts
  • Work cooperatively with team members
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation
  • Follow management requests promptly
