Job Requirements
- High school education or equivalent preferred
- minimum one year of bar experience
- basic mathematical skills to operate cash register and handle transactions
- ability to remember and promote menu items
- ability to operate keyboard and point of sale procedures
- basic English proficiency in reading, writing, speaking
- flexible availability including weekends and holidays
- excellent customer service skills
- ability to work well in a team
- manual dexterity for drink preparation and bar tasks
- physical ability to stand, walk, lift, and perform repetitive movements
- ability to handle mentally and physically stressful situations
Job Qualifications
- Professional and energetic
- high school education or equivalent preferred
- at least one year of bar experience
- knowledge of spirits and wine
- ability to create craft artisan cocktails and specialty drinks
- hotel experience preferred
- excellent customer service skills
- ability to work as part of a team
- ability to operate point of sale systems
Job Duties
- Make cocktails and provide exceptional guest experiences
- maintain proper and adequate set-up of the bar daily including requisitioning and stocking supplies
- maintain stock, cut, and store fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes and other perishables daily
- greet guests courteously and promote and document drink orders
- mix, garnish, and present drinks using standard recipes and practice portion control
- abide by all state, federal, and corporate alcohol service requirements
- input orders into the point of sale register and create a check for each guest to maintain beverage accountability
- handle cash transactions, verify validity of charges, and balance all receipts
- lock and store all beverage, food, and equipment items securely, make cash deposits
- comply with attendance rules and maintain reliable availability
- perform other related duties as assigned
