Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum one year of bartending or related experience preferred
- Ability to stand and walk for entire shifts
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Ability to tolerate frequent exposure of hands to liquids
- Must be able to work varied shifts including nights and weekends
- Ability to operate bar equipment and use point of sale terminals
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Must pass alcohol awareness training
- Ability to follow safety and sanitation policies
Job Qualifications
- Experience in bartending or a similar customer service role
- Ability to multitask calmly and effectively in a busy, stressful environment
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends
- Knowledge of safety and sanitation guidelines
- Ability to handle cash and operate POS systems
- Alcohol awareness training or willingness to complete
- Team player with a friendly and accommodating demeanor
Job Duties
- Prepare and serve beverages to guests according to recipes
- Stock and restock appropriate areas of the bar with alcohol, glassware, ice, and supplies
- Available to work a variety of hours, days, and shifts, including weekends
- Effectively service a full bar top, cocktail station, and dining room orders
- Safely and effectively transport food or beverages to a table of three in a single trip
- Safely and effectively use and operate all necessary tools and equipment, including knives and blenders
- Effectively communicate in order to perform and follow job requirements in written and spoken direction
