Job Requirements
- must be at least 21 years of age
- knowledge of cocktails, beer, and wine including recipes, history, base ingredients, and jiggers
- ability to provide excellent guest service by presenting the drink menu, making recommendations, and answering questions
- skill in recording orders accurately and processing payments promptly
- ability to maintain inventory and restock bar supplies
- capable of maintaining cleanliness of bar counters, tables, equipment, and floors
- must be able to stand and move actively for periods up to 5 hours
- able to lift up to 35 pounds
- weekend availability is a must
Job Qualifications
- high school education or equivalent
- minimum 1-year experience in the restaurant or customer service industry preferred
- knowledge of cocktails, beer, and wine including recipes and preparation
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work flexible hours including weekends
- able to maintain cleanliness standards and follow safety protocols
Job Duties
- present the drink menu and make recommendations
- answer questions regarding food and beverages
- take and record drink and food orders accurately using POS
- promptly serve food and drinks to guests
- up-sell beverages when possible
- maintain inventory and restock bar supplies
- ensure the cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- wash and sterilize glassware
- fill in as a server when needed to support restaurant operations
