Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year of bartending or serving experience in a full scale restaurant
  • Availability to work all shifts and days including holidays with rotating shifts
  • Ability to work in low-light and smoking environment
  • Ability to stand for full shifts
  • Strong communication skills in noisy environments
  • Ability to card and monitor guests
  • Ability to manage intoxication situations
  • Must follow company alcohol policies strictly

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 1 year previous bartending or serving experience in a full-scale restaurant
  • Ability to observe and manage guest intoxication professionally
  • Strong customer service and communication skills in noisy environments
  • Ability to work flexible shifts including holidays
  • Ability to stand for entire shifts
  • Knowledge of alcohol dispensing rules and procedures
  • Basic math skills for balancing monies and reports

Job Duties

  • Provide an atmosphere where guests have a comfortable and pleasant experience
  • Observe and understand if guest has reached intoxication level and handle the situation appropriately
  • Card all guests who appear younger than 30 years old without exception
  • Prepare and serve cocktails and beverages
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area at all times
  • Take drink orders cordially while maintaining professionalism and avoiding fraternization
  • Follow all company alcohol metering and dispensing rules and procedures
  • Be responsible for the accuracy of monies collected and balance monies at the end of shifts
  • Run designated reports and other accountability reports
  • Read and comprehend instructions, correspondences and complete necessary forms and reports
  • Perform all other duties as assigned
