Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous bartending or hospitality experience preferred
  • ability to handle cash and operate register systems
  • strong communication skills
  • available to work nights, weekends and holidays
  • ability to stand for long periods and work in fast paced environment
  • completion of liquor liability training within 30 days of employment

  • experience in hospitality or bartending preferred but not required

Job Duties

  • Efficiently maintain bar supplies including preparation of daily requisition as necessary
  • be completely familiar with different kinds of liquor, recipes and prices of drinks, proper glassware for each recipe, and garnishes needed
  • know drink recipes, prices and types of beverages available
  • be familiar with accurate cash handling procedures including proper discounting, MICROS system (or registers), bank procedures and tip policies
  • accurately charge guests for drinks and handle all monies
  • anticipate guest needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests, maintaining positive guest relations at all times
  • resolve guest complaints ensuring guest satisfaction in each interaction
  • be formally trained regarding liquor liability within 30 days of employment and every 2 years thereafter
