Job Requirements

  • Must be able to articulate clear greetings and farewells to guests as well as being able to understand requests for assistance

  • Maricopa County food handlers card required
  • title IV alcohol certification

Job Duties

  • Deliver a consistently high level of customer service to each guest and maintain a safe environment by identifying problem guests and having them removed
  • keep the bar area clean in accordance with the company guidelines as well as the requirements of the local health department
  • maintain an accurate cash drawer throughout the night and be able to account for any and all discrepancies in the final drawer tally
  • greet guests with a smile and by name if known and welcome them to the restaurant
  • mix all drinks based on the serving sizes as outlined to keep drink costs at a minimum and consistent
  • develop an efficient work pace that keeps the customers at the bar always satisfied
  • prepare and assemble food items from the menu including appetizers, snacks, and light meals
  • educate customers on food items, how they are prepared and served
  • ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and food handling standards
  • provide a positive and friendly guest experience by interacting with patrons
  • check identification to verify legal age requirements for all customers
  • keep a well-stocked bar with an adequate supply of liquor, beer, wine, mixers, ice, napkins, straws, glassware, food condiments and other accessories
  • organize the bar area to streamline drink preparation and inventory
  • slice, pit, and prepare fruit garnishes for drinks and date per requirements of health codes
  • assist in ensuring patrons always have a safe ride home, calling a taxi or Uber when appropriate
  • special projects as assigned by manager
