Job Requirements

  • Minimum age 18 or older
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Six months or more bartending experience in a similar environment preferred
  • Detail oriented, organized, and ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to be self-directed while working in a team-oriented environment
  • Professional interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to calculate basic math functions
  • Ability to acquire TEAM/TIP’s certification
  • Ability to work flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, holidays

  • Ability to calculate basic math functions including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages
  • Requires strict confidentiality regarding private company information including event guests, contracts, and suite owners
  • Ability to acquire TEAM/TIP’s certification for service of alcohol
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Demonstrate ability to meet company standards for guest service, interaction with co-workers and uniform standards
  • Follow bar pre-shift notes and bar menus and provide service as described
  • Serve alcoholic beverages following all proper procedures and state/federal regulations
  • Learn and suggestively upsell various beer, wine and spirit varieties to guests
  • Pour drinks responsibly in accordance with company standards
  • Check guest’s ID to verify minimum age requirement for alcohol purchase
  • Communicate a cut-off to guests as required
  • Listen and respond to customer requests or concerns
  • De-escalate intoxicated guest situations and contact management or security as needed
  • Request additional or restock product as required
  • Maintain clean and sanitary workstation and well-maintained bar equipment
  • Set up and breakdown bar equipment and assist with cooler organization
  • Achieve and maintain TEAM/TIP’s certification for alcohol service
