Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 1-year experience bartending required
- ServeSafe Food Handler’s Certification or equivalent
- ability to take direction and collaborate in a team environment
- ability to work in a high energy and demanding environment
- excellent time management skills and attention to detail
- knowledge of math to figure cost, make change, and cash handling procedures
- good communication skills and ability to work independently as well as with other team members
- able to work unsupervised for extensive periods and demonstrate good judgment when dealing with customers and peers
Job Qualifications

- 1-year bartending experience
- ability to work various shifts in a 7/365 team-oriented environment
- excellent customer service skills and effective communication in English

- proficiency in reading, writing, and mathematics in English
- knowledge of federal, state, and local liquor laws
- ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs
- able to stand for long periods and work in varying temperature environments

Job Duties
- Warmly greet and acknowledge guests and take drink and food orders
- provide information about menu items and look for opportunities for additional sales
- prepare and serve a wide variety of craft cocktails, beer, wines, and food
- check identification of guests to verify legal drinking age
- accurately process transactions through the point-of-sale system ensuring cash, credit, and debit transactions are recorded accurately
- ensure a clean, sanitized, and well-stocked bar
- stock and clean glassware using glass washer and sanitizer
- perform opening and closing side work as directed
- follow alcohol awareness procedures for preventing intoxication and handle intoxicated guests appropriately
- maintain a clean organized work environment free of safety hazards
- inventory all beverages and operation supplies and order replacements as needed
- respond appropriately to customer concerns
- build guest loyalty and enhance selling skills using available training materials
- enthusiastically support management decisions
- follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
- take direction and collaborate in a team environment
- go above and beyond for guests and team members
