Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

  • Sufficient experience and/or education, knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform bartending duties
  • ability to mix and serve a wide variety of beverages
  • skill in mixing cocktails such as Alexander, Margarita, Zombie, and Singapore Sling
  • competency in setting up and maintaining a bar
  • cash handling and inventory accountability skills
  • customer service skills to manage difficult patrons
  • clear and specific description of bartending experience in resume

Job Duties

  • Prepare and serve all types of alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages from a full-service bar
  • mix beverages by combining ingredients such as liquors, soda, water, sugar, bitters, and fruit garnishes
  • serve liqueur, beer, and wine skillfully
  • set up the bar completely and recognize impending shortages of supplies based on business volume
  • collect tabs, chits, or cash accurately and be accountable for cash and inventory during the period worked
  • recognize intoxicated or unruly patrons and resolve problems or seek assistance
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
