- Knowledge of classic and modern cocktail preparation, wine, and spirits
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a friendly, engaging demeanor
- Professional appearance and ability to maintain composure under pressure
- Reliable, efficient, and detail-oriented work ethic
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Physical ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Bartending certification or formal mixology training
- Experience in a private club, fine dining, or events-focused hospitality setting
- Familiarity with POS systems and basic computer skills
Job Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of classic and craft cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages with accuracy and consistency
- Provide exceptional service across multiple settings, including member dining venues, private event spaces, and special event areas
- Collaborate with the Food and Beverage team to create seasonal cocktail menus and suggest beverage pairings
- Monitor guest needs and anticipate requests to enhance the overall experience
- Check identification to ensure responsible alcohol service in compliance with state laws and club policies
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including cleaning glasses, utensils, and equipment
- Support event setup and breakdown when needed, including weddings, holiday parties, and regattas
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and quality standards
