Job Qualifications

Previous bartending experience required
Experience in upscale, refined, or fine dining is preferred
Thorough knowledge of alcoholic beverages, wines, beers, and bar equipment
Exceptional guest service skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask and maintain composure during peak hours
Proficient in operating POS systems and handling transactions
Ability to work efficiently under pressure
Warm, polished, and professional demeanor
Well-groomed appearance
Team-oriented mindset with accountability and collaboration
Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Physically capable of standing for extended periods and lifting up to 20 lbs

Job Duties

Greet guests warmly and engage using Forbes and Mirbeau language standards
Provide exceptional, personalized guest service aligning with resort standards
Take guest orders accurately and efficiently using POS system
Assist guests with food and service requests
Handle guest complaints or concerns professionally
Monitor guest behavior and manage intoxicated individuals responsibly
Suggest and promote specialty cocktails, wines, and house drinks
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and preferences
Craft premium cocktails, wine, and beverages with precision and attention to detail
Ensure accurate measures of liquor, wine, and mixed drinks
Check IDs and ensure responsible alcohol service in compliance with laws
Set up bar stations prior to opening with proper stocking
Prepare garnishes and mixers daily
Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar area
Restock and replenish bar inventory, glassware, and ingredients
Maintain par stock levels for liquors and wines
Assist Director of Food & Beverage with weekly ordering and recommendations
Keep accurate records of beverage transfers and submit reports
Report voids, drink spoilage, or inventory discrepancies
Report to work in uniform and on time
Operate POS and handle cash, credit transactions, and tips securely
Maintain calm, gracious, and professional demeanor during busy periods
Collaborate with front-of-house and kitchen staff
Assist with bar opening and closing duties
Follow all resort policies and alcohol beverage laws
Attend staff meetings and training
Perform additional duties as assigned by management
