At least two years of experience at a fast paced dining establishment is preferred
Working knowledge of wine, beer, and spirits
Ability to learn and follow recipes
Warm and outgoing personality
Commitment to deliver a unique and memorable guest experience
Excellent people skills
Ability to remain calm under pressure
Ability to multi-task
Basic math skills
Ability to handle money
Ability to operate a point-of-sale system
Fluent in English
Must have a valid food handler card

Job Qualifications

Working knowledge of wine, beer, spirits and tending bar, with the ability to learn and follow recipes
A warm and outgoing personality with a passion for food, wine, spirits and customer service
Commitment to deliver a unique and memorable guest experience
Excellent people skills and ability to remain calm under pressure
Ability to multi-task and work well in a high volume environment
Possess basic math skills and ability to handle money and operate a point-of-sale system
Fluent in English, proficiency in other languages is a plus
Must have a valid food handler card

Job Duties

Greet guests and take beverage orders from servers or directly from guests
Mix drinks, cocktails and other bar beverages as ordered
Check identification of guests to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol
Handle an assigned house bank and follow all cash handling procedures
Collect payment for drinks served and balance all receipts
Ensure that the assigned bar area is fully equipped with tools and products needed for mixing beverages and serving guests, prepare inventory
Serve snacks or food items to guests seated at the bar where appropriate
Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of food and beverage products, menus and promotions
