Job Requirements

  • Be 21 years of age
  • Minimum of one year bartending experience
  • High school diploma preferred
  • Ability to read, speak, and understand English
  • Basic math skills
  • Must have food handler or liquor permits
  • Brand certification as required
  • Ability to stand and work for up to 8 hours
  • Ability to reach, bend, stoop, and lift up to 60 pounds
  • Effective communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma preferred
  • Verbal and written English proficiency
  • Basic math skills for cash register operation and calculating totals
  • Food handler or liquor permits as required by law
  • Brand certification as required
  • Ability to remember and promote menu items
  • Ability to operate keyboard and point of sale systems
  • Able to communicate effectively with guests
  • Knowledge of food and beverage preparation and alcoholic beverage service
  • Ability to stand for long periods and work in confined spaces
  • Ability to lift up to 60 pounds

Job Duties

  • Take beverage orders from guests and servers
  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks consistent with standard drink recipes
  • Input orders into register at the point of sale and create checks for guests
  • Accept guest payment and process credit card charges
  • Wash and sterilize glassware
  • Prepare garnishes for drinks and replenish snacks and appetizers
  • Maintain stock, cutting, and storing fresh fruit and garnishes daily
  • Adhere to all State, Federal, and Corporate liquor regulations
  • Contact management and security personnel with disorderly guests
  • Clear and reset tables in bar area
  • Follow the Guest Program's steps of service including presentation of drink menus and recommendations
  • Maintain cleanliness of all bar areas including counters and storage
  • Report equipment problems and bar maintenance issues
  • Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
  • Fill in as needed to ensure smooth operation of the restaurant
